Chargeable experiences
White Water Rafting:
Egerton is the optimal entry point to experience a section of the Orange River known as The Narrows. Here you may experience three large rapids. Experienced guides and inflatable boats can be arranged to take you down.
Fly-fishing:
Experienced and passionate fly-fishing guides can be arranged to help you land the indigenous large- and small-mouth yellowfish.
The Complete Fly Fisherman (TCFF) has added Egerton River Lodge as a "top-class yellowfish fly fishing venue" to complement their annual TCFF Sterkfontein Yellowfish Experience.
